Adjust

If only it were easy to just adjust! That is my new word that I am hanging onto. First, I cannot think of an adjustment that is not uncomfortable or even painful for that matter. When things are hard and you do not understand why? Adjust! God is up to something. I was thinking about Paul this morning. Paul, in the 2 Corinthians 11 (The Message) and all of the trials that he went through from being stoned, immersed in the sea, tried by the sun scorched desert, beaten with a rod, and put in prison. And, I complain when I get uncomfortable with my situation. Well, I guess I will just need to adjust. My adjustmensts are so minor in comparison.

A few lessons that I am learning along the way. These are from experiencing God:

1) Major Adjustments are necessary.
2) Adjust our lives to God, once they are made God can accomplish his purposes through those he called.
3) If you refuse to adjust, you will miss out on what God had in store for your life. (Do not miss out on this).
4) Your greatest single difficulty in following God may come at a point of adjusment.
5) Wilingness to pay the price...now that is an adjusment.

In order to live a life adjusted to God it requires complete surrender! Absolute Surrender!

I would love to hear some areas of your life where God is calling you to make an adjustment.

These areas may include: relationships, your circumstances, in your thinking, in your commitments, in your actions or in your beliefs. As for me my adjustments today are in my actions and my thinking.

I am learning that if I walk by faith and trust God. Then I do not need to "talk" about my circumstances. If I believe God is working on my behalf then believe it! When I am one who loves to talk through things that is hard! If I am trusting Him to see me through then I am not talking about it! An adjustment. "Speak to my mountain not about it." quote by Laurie Vilhauer. I believe God is a work and I am not talking about it. This morning I have a thankful heart for all of the adjustments that are going on in my life. You know why I am so grateful! God must be up to something really big in my life!

When the adjustment is complete it will be a testimony! I will share the testimony...not the trial!

Still adjusting!
